Tencent, the globe’s biggest video game publisher, now owns over 2M shares in “Alan Wake” and “Max Payne” maker Remedy Entertainment, representing 14.8% of the Finnish company’s shares and voting rights, VideoGamesChronicle’s Tom Ivan reports. The Chinese gaming giant originally purchased 3.8% of Remedy in May 2021, and had boosted its interest to 5.01% as of November 2022, the author notes.
