Spirit AeroSystems (SPR) has requested that a U.S. judge bar an investigation by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, saying that the state’s demand for internal documents are unreasonable and unlawful, Reuters’ Mike Scarcella reports. The airline parts maker filed the lawsuit in a federal court in Austin, Texas, with the complaint saying the company had major legal concerns with the probe that Paxton’s office announced in March centered on the safety of jet parts provided to Boeing (BA), the author notes.
